We offer the same services as other agencies but at a lower cost, leveraging over 30 years of experience in the industry.
We have been in the industry since 1990, and our goal is to provide loved ones with a dignified funeral. Dignity includes care and compassion.
We believe in transparency when it comes to pricing, and that’s why we have developed a price list to make it easy for you to see the cost of a funeral. Our aim is to be the most affordable funeral home in your area.
We have branches in several locations in Southern Norway:

We do not charge extra for work outside of regular office hours, and there is no fee for the viewing of the deceased in the casket.

Byglands funeral homes was established in 2017 by Knut R. Bygland, who is also the managing director and owner.
Knut R. Bygland is a trained teacher and organist – and has been in the industry since 1990.
The chain Bygland’s Funeral Agencies was established in 2017 by Knut R. Bygland, who is also the general manager and owner. We want to give relatives a dignified funeral. Dignity includes care and compassion.

Funeral prices
Price for obituaries and flowers is additional. When driving over 20 km, it is assumed that an application is made for allowance for stretcher transport from NAV.
